We’re happy to once again work with Common Goal Coffee to share this Ethiopian Natural from Gigesa in the Guji Zone.
Grown in the highlands of Danbi Uddo Kebele in Ethiopia’s Guji Zone, this fully traceable coffee comes from more than 500 smallholder farmers, each cultivating 2–5 hectares at elevations above 1800 meters. Cherries are delivered to the Gigesa washing station, owned and operated by the Yonis family and certified under both NOP and EU Organic standards. After careful hand-sorting and floatation, the coffee is traditionally dried as a natural on raised beds for up to 18 days. Thoughtful processing and attention to detail at every step result in a remarkably clean and expressive cup that reflects the care of the producers and processors alike.
