Our first Ethiopian lot of the season is this incredible washed Sidama from the Bensa Buncho washing station.
Grown at 2,200–2,350 meters, this high-altitude, smallholder-grown coffee showcases classic peach and black tea notes with a light floral finish. We found that this coffee really opens up and shines as it cools in the cup.
A big thanks to our friends at Royal Coffee for bringing in this lot for us. Ethiopia has faced some significant logistical challenges this year, and we’re grateful to everyone from the producers to the exporters who helped bring this coffee to us.
