This honey-processed lot from the Aguilera siblings highlights the craft and care behind coffee from Costa Rica’s El Naranjo region. Grown on their family’s 35-acre farm, El Licho, this coffee reflects years of dedication to refining processing techniques.

Cherries are carefully sorted, floated, and depulped before drying with their mucilage intact—a method that reduces water usage, lowers environmental impact, and enhances an expressive cup profile. After a brief patio stage, the coffee is mechanically dried with precise control to reach optimal moisture.

With multiple top finishes in Costa Rica’s Cup of Excellence, the Aguilera family’s meticulous approach is evident in every step of this standout lot.
