As part of the roastery team, the Roastery Assistant will learn how to production and sample roast, as well as package coffee, prepare customer shipments, assess coffee quality, help with product development, and maintain a clean and happy roastery.

This is a great position for anyone with a deep interest in coffee and its production, and has the ability to lift large bags of coffee beans on the regular.

QUALIFICATIONS • Must love coffee!
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Class 5 Drivers License with clean driver’s abstract
• Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Available to work early mornings, and weekends

MAIN DUTIES • Production Roasting
• Sample roasting
• Cold Brew & Cascara Production
• Bagging Coffee
• Deliveries
• Tasting Coffee & Pallet Development
• Jumping in wherever, whenever
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Accurately following roast profiles to ensure quality
• Packaging and bagging freshly roasted coffee with 
accuracy and efficiency
• Working independently, as well as part of a team
• Maintaining a clean and organized roastery
• Ensuring accurate and timely shipments & deliveries
